Hingham High School names Carla Farkes as next Girls' Lacrosse Coach

Hingham High School has named Carla Farkes as its next girls' lacrosse coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Jim Quatromoni and Principal Rick Swanson.

"I am excited to announce Carla Farkes as our next girls' lacrosse coach and welcome her back to the Hingham school community," said Quatromoni.  "Carla has college and varsity high school coaching experience as well as many years of experience on the club level.  Carla's passion for the game and our program was evident in the interview process.  I trust that she will take this energy to work seamlessly with our youth program and advance the culture of Harborwomen Lacrosse."

Coach Farkes was the head coach at Buckingham Browne & Nichols in 2018.  Previous to that, she was an assistant coach at Harvard University from 2010 to 2017.  She has been a fixture on the club lacrosse scene since 2004.

Prior to starting her coaching career, Coach Farkes was an award winning multi-sport student-athlete at Hingham High School.  She continued her lacrosse career at Syracuse University.

Coach Farkes resides in Hull with her husband Josh.
