Caroline Johannes (far left above) has
been chosen to compete in the prestigious Tommy Cochary High School Mile. The race is run in memory of Tommy Cochary, a local Falmouth runner who was killed
by a drunk driver. According to the
Falmouth Road Race website “The goal of the selection process is to invite the
best athletes in Massachusetts who also embody the underlying values of the
race and Make Smart Choices in their lives.”
The Hingham XC/Track family is
incredibly proud to have one of our own chosen for this amazing race. Adding to the excitement Boston Marathon
Champion Desi Linden will be meeting with the High
School athletes and spending time with them!
